About Myrtlewood Palmetto

A Myrtle Beach Staple Since 1973

Palmetto is one of the original courses that helped define Myrtle Beach golf. Built in 1973, this timeless design offers wide fairways, large greens, and just enough water to keep you honest. The layout is friendly to higher handicaps while still rewarding good course management and shot placement.

The real highlight? The finishing holes along the Intracoastal Waterway—pure Myrtle Beach golf vibes.

More About The Course

Coastal Golf the Way It Was Meant to Be Played

Myrtlewood’s Palmetto Course is the more traditional of the two layouts at Myrtlewood Golf Club. Designed by Edmund Ault, it features a par-72 layout with a straightforward, player-friendly design that doesn’t skimp on scenery—especially on holes 16 through 18, which play right along the Intracoastal Waterway.
